Do what you love!

How many of us get up in the morning and go to a job that we dread? Yet, feel slightly guilty because we know we are Blessed to have a job in the first place. Especially, during a time when the economy isn't at it's best. The good news is God's economy is WONDERFUL and has always been WONDERFUL! Isn't it so comforting and reassuring to know that we serve a God who's Blessings are endless for those who love him! Somehow, folks in the work place tend to make comments such as, "You need this job!" or "No one is hiring, where are you going to go?" You might as well make the best of it, "It's the same where ever you go!" Well, I refuse to believe that! I believe we serve a God where ALL things are possible and NOTHING is impossible with God. I believe that you can have a job that you enjoy waking up in the morning and don't mind going to. You can love what you do! Unfortunately, so many of us have been told so many times that it's not going to get better that some actually believe it. You can have that peace and unspeakable joy. We have to trust the Lord! His word says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28 Don't stop believing, don't stop praying, & don't stop being the light that you are called to be right where you are. Even when those on your job persecute you, try to steal your joy, talk about you, insult you, and despitefully use you. Remember, "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." -1Peter 3:12. Also, "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. "-Proverbs 15:3. This tells us that nothing under the sun, in the dark, at the office, at home, in your car, no matter where you are, happens that God doesn't know about! He knows all, sees all, and hears all. I wonder if everyone was mindful of this daily would they do some of the things that they do. In the meantime, try not to murmur and complain about where you are because, believe it or not, you are there for a reason for whatever duration of time. However, all things on this earth are temporal. It's temporary! Take time to do something you love as long as it is aligned with God's will for your life! Do something that contributes to helping you reach your personal goals each day! Write down your dream! Your vision. Make it plain on paper. Look at it regularly. "And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.-Habakkuk 2:2. If you want to start a business, pray about it. Talk to your Heavenly Father Jesus Christ, about it! He is the BEST FRIEND you'll ever have. Sometimes we may not have all the answers about how to start something, but if it's the Lord's will for your life, and you have Faith and Believe, it will come to pass! Be Blessed! J.Brodie
